While packing up most of my room into boxes in preperation for Mom getting all the carpets cleaned, I came across a large clay jar I made back in middle school. The contents were very intriguing.

--A long strip of yellow cloth taken from my childhood blankie.
--A green spray bottle labeled “Angel Elixers: Flight” and below that “Anpiel” written in both English and Hebrew, coupled with a bit of paper describing the appearance/domains of assorted angels. I’m fairly certain I picked it up at one of the Jewish spiritual retreats Mom took me too when I was younger.
--Some sort of painted and glazed clay pyramid. No clue at all where it’s from, just that “Judy 2001” is written on the bottom.
--A stopped pocketwatch on a chain, which I remember finding in the bandroom in seventh grade. I wonder if I can get it repaired, it looks kinda cool.
--A purple drawstring bag with gold stars and crescent moons on it. I think it’s left over from one of those fluffy ‘magic’ books I bought back in fifth or sixth grade with all those kiddy spells for sleeping well and protection and getting money, based on some of the contents.
---A bit of paperclip metal with plastic tubing and a washer on it. No clue what that’s about.
---A metal coin with a horned moon on one side and a double-horned moon on the other side.
---A second coin with spiral patterns on it. One side’s got a little line in the center of the spiral, the other a little jagged line like a lightning bolt. Not sure what they were supposed to mean.
---A clear crystal, probably very cheap and made for play magic.
---A little round bell, like the sort you’d put around a cat’s collar. It’s probably from the same set.
---A three inch rusted metal rod, source unknown.
---Several small clamshells from the bottom of our lake.

I don't even remember why I'm keeping this stuff or if there's any particular point to it. It just all seems very random.

It's kinda cool, though. I bet there's a story or two in there.

Might be. But those 'here, take this thingie and write about it for five minutes' assignments are incredibly lame.

Well, of course they are. They're assignments. ;P

Mum gets me all these books on writing and I can't be arsed to even crack them open because of such assignments. It's all pointless glop anyway.

Ooh, yeah - you were asking me about the coins, and I missed answering that comment, didn't I? Sorry! Sounds like they are play magic, or were - but by the time they've been lost, found, and turned into a little puzzle in the bottom of a clay jar... hey, that probably gives them more actual occult value than they'd ever have had if you'd just kept them where you could see them. :) You keeping them?

But of course, although they're still in the jar and in one of the aformentioned giant plastic boxes. I'm just not very sure what to do with them.
