Right. You. The stupid person.

It is your Furman-right to dislike Transformers slash and I'm totally cool with it. Most of the fandom feels this way. However, that doesn't mean you can be a jerk about it.

It's both rude and immature to come into someone's private DevArt gallery or fanfiction post and yell at them for putting up slash. Speaking out against it doesn't make you some sort of fandom martyr and you are not speaking for the passive majority. The passive majority doesn't even know who you are, nor do they care. They're over at the Allspark forums trying to figure out if Rumble is red or blue.

Let us get to the heart of your complaints, bearing in mind that you are both a writer and artist of Sues. You say that portraying Galvatron and Cyclonus in a relationship is tarnishing Galvatron's reputation and making Cyclonus look like, and I quote, a "simpering pussy". In a direct contradiction of that, you also mention that it is insulting to those in a homosexual lifestyle. WTF mate.

If you think being "gay" damages their reputations, you're far more offensive than most slashfic could ever be. The fact that they happen to be snogging does not mean they're weak or undignified or anything else. There are strong gay guys and there are wimpy straight guys, and anyone writing those two properly would know how powerful they both are. Sexual preference does not determine personality. Cyclonus would NEED to be strong in order to deal with Galvatron on a personal and intimate basis, as Galvatron is neither safe nor sane (although I'm assuming there's consensual somewhere in there). People might want Galvatron's job, but they certainly don't want his.

On a broader basis, Transformer romantic relationships are not a fan-made concept. Watch Beast Wars (which had a good bit of Silverbolt and Blackarachnia getting cuddly). Or "The Search for Alpha Trion" and "War Dawn", featuring quite a bit of romance. And if you have a problem with The Gay, watch some of Transformers: Energon. You may learn something.

On the other hand, the Decepticon females you keep drawing and writing? Definitely NOT around in the original cartoon. Nightbird doesn't count. Creating Decepticon females is perfectly cool, but you can't go around yelling about strict canon and then have your 'con femmes kicking male ass and complaining that people just ogle them and don't take them seriously because they're girls. *is going to save THAT rant for another day* You left the original intent of the writers behind a long time ago.

There's a handy little tool called the back button. Learn to use it.

Oh, and this?

And in a sense spirit Galvatron is fuming seeing stupid homo jokes of him and Cyclonus. He's raging, screaming and all out furious about it. He's sick and tired of seeing it and wants to destroy all that fanart that depicts it.

This does not help your credibility.

EDIT: And now...apparently she's taking down all her stuff and leaving the fandom forever. Dude. Someone's either overreacting or in desperate need of attention.

DOUBLE EDIT: Nope, false alarm, she was just joking!. What nonsense this fandom has.

I prefer to use 'heterosexuality' to mean a Transformer prefers mechs with different alt-modes than his, anyway. ;-)

*snerks* Like I said below, it'd take a whole new vocabulary. There's more to prefer.

*Grins* My Tracks is very, very straight. Which makes Sunstreaker all woeface because here he is, an absolutely gorgeous Lamborghini, and that silly Corvette is mooning over a stereo!

Writing robot slash is fun, because there's so many more variables than male/female. Hell, it's not even like male/female is the only attractor among humans, why shouldn't it be more complicated for robots with two or more forms?

... I think I just resaid what you said below, only longer.

Well, it's nice when people agree, even if they fling a lot of words around to find out that they agree.

And add to everything else the fact that TFs can completely upgrade and change exteriors, and things get really complicated in terms of attraction.

What can I say? Transformers culture is one of those things that gets me talking.

Oh yeah. I'm not sure how often total body rebuild into something different would happen, but upgrading to the newest design might make someone uglier... Or prettier. (Of course, I still have no real idea of what a Transformer might find attractive other than "alt-mode kibble while in robot-mode" and "clean".)

Designing your 'beautiful' female OC to look like a good-looking human would is just lazy. There's so much more room to be creative with what they look like without making them bosomy and wearing high heels.

And given that a number of TFs have either high heels or large chests anyway, that doesn't say anything about sexuality.

And this is one of the more intriguing parts of it.

Totally different would be... probably a matter of personal choice, and I don't know how often that'd happen-- but it doesn't seem impossible, certainly. Someone getting just that sick of their appearance...

As for what might be attractive, well, that probably varies wildly, even more so than in humans. Overall vertical symmetry is probably a decent general attractor, because it's not always easy to engineer... but certain off-center elements could be considered striking, as well. (Just that such elements might be the business arm of a backhoe rather than a beauty mark.) Color probably invariably goes through trends, being one of the easiest sorts of things to change... but with basics like one bold color combined with black or a metallic shade never really going out of fashion. Maybe some people like alt-mode kibble, some like clean lines, some like sleek lines, some like a boxier shape, some like to be able to spot what someone's alt-mode is even in robot mode while others would rather the two modes be as different as possible, some like a hint of the organic while others prefer a purely tech look...

And considering human standards of beauty shift noticably in the course of a decade, what Optimus Prime finds stunning is probably not what Optimus Primal would be at all interested in.

Headspace!Starscream thinks elegant aerodynamic designs in alt-modes are beautiful. He finds robot-modes that scream "I AM POWER INCARNATE" to be terribly sexy, too.

Skyfire combines both.

Same for me.

Snowcat's mostly in favor of people not doing other people with different altmodes, but he's weird.
