First Round of Britpics.
Mar. 13th, 2007 07:53 pmSo, I got picked up by Boots and her father at the airport and we went to breakfast. There were MASSIVE amounts of squee, I must say. TREMENDOUS.
Then more people came over and the squee intensified. Not seen is Koi, who was off to the side and bound up in ribbons. Also off to the side was a lover's squabble, Chibicronians, and Rampage attempting to pick up Depth Charge.
More happy Triad. We went to see Ghost Rider and sat around having tasty drinks. Peach-flavored rum is nice.
Boots and I went down to the city center the next day and I impersonated Cardoom. I'll spare you the boring architecture pictures because that's not as pretty as coffeehouses that contain hot chocolate and Boots. We met up with Mikki and inspected a phone box, after which we tried to see how many fanpeoples we could fit into it. We're fairly certain there would have been room for Rath if she'd been there.
We also saw the Slaanesh boat, although it appeared to be inert at the time.

Date: 2007-03-17 12:47 pm (UTC)I like the city center pic. *smiles* Nice to know some things don't seem to have changed since I moved away for college.
OMG I *want* that Cardoom hat!
Indigo's is Luv. NOWHERE could possibly do a better hot chocolate than Indigo's Coffee House. I'm adamant about this. Glad you got the chance to go there. It would've been a crime not to have introduced you to it while you were over here in the UK.
*snerks at the phonebox* My HS friends did something similar once. Y'know that shopping mall called the Grafton Center? Right at the back on the upper level, near to where the Vue theater is, there is (or at least there used to be) this little photo booth which was, in all honestly, the tiniest photobooth I've ever seen in my life as far as internal space was concerned. Three guesses where I'm going with this... ;P
Yeah. It became something of a hobby for us to wander over to this photo booth as a group (usually before or after seeing a movie at Vue) and seeing how many of us we could squish into this photo booth at the same time. Perfect that we could take photographic proof thanks to the booth, too. I think we managed to get eight of our faces into one passport-sized photo shot once... *reminds self to poke Nenny for a copy of that pic*
Ah, Cambridge. Good times, heh. *grins*
