Am in Physical Therepy this week for the program. It's not that bad, although I saw way way more then I wanted to while being in the wrong place in relation to an old guy in a hospital gown.

Finally got to see more Galaxy Force(thank you [livejournal.com profile] horsetechie). For the record, Hop is adorable do the point of being able to do Jedi-espe mind tricks, Nitro Convoy is pretty, Thundercracker is hot, and Galaxy Convoy wants Starscream's sexy body("No, you go off and find the Chip Square. Leave Starscream to me!").

So I'm hanging with my two friends at the Lavender Fest, which is this big sort of festival with lots of craft booths and people selling herbs and so on. I picked up an incense holder and some really nice jam, but that's not the point here.

There's a lady over at booth which a bunch of prolife, antiabortion stuff. She has a bunch of handouts and some models showing the various stages of pregnancy. We go over and talk with her a bit, and she gave me a little cheap plastic model of a ten-week old fetus. Okay, whatever makes her happy.

So we go off to look at some jade jewelery, and as I turn back, I see her explaining the process of abortion to another group of people--five and seven year old boys.

There are no words.

*loud unsavory noises are heard from broom closet*

You miss it? What happened to it?

I think there's a way you can download it with DC++ and not have to use BitTorrent. Talk to HT, she showed me how when I was having rouble with BitTorrent.

(Also in the Cell under the thread "BitTorrent Help")

The problem is I can't really download anything. It's not my computer, it belongs to the military.

Ask someone (Rath?) to burn the episodes on CD for you and send them by snail mail?

If someone would be willing to do that... I don't think Rath is a GFer.

I just named Rath because she was the first "person you trust with your RL address" that came to my mind.

I feel bad for not doing it for you myself, but I'm not sure if I can afford the postage to Japan... will have to look and see, but no promises yet. (Which episodes do you need?)

Anything after 19, I think. And I'm on an American base, so postage is just like shipping to within the country. Or so I gather.

...except I'm not "within the country", remember? So unless I can get someone to mail it from an American base... Like I said, will have to look into it.

But anyway, thank you for looking into it for me.

*heh* Just send some eps to [livejournal.com profile] amethystlight... except she lives in Arizona. Does that laptop you use have a DVD-ROM on it, Pepper? I could 20 eps on one DVD (whereas I can only get 3 on a CD). But I don't mind footing the S/H to Japan for CD's (around 6 CD's for 23 eps).

And I had heard from another guy who was stationed at a US base in Bosnia, that anything under 13 ounces can be sent free of postage. I sent him a couple of CDs with TMNT eps (w/o postage), and it got to him.

It doesn't have a seperate DVD-ROM, but it can play DVDs... dunno if that counts. *loves you forever*

*grin* Yeah, if it can recognize a DVD, then that should qualitfy it as a DVD drive. My husband's laptop can play DVD's and recognize files saved on a DVD.

Here's my email, if you're game... horseturtle(at)yahoo(dot)com
