I wouldn't really call myself a fan of Lady Gaga, because to me that indicates some sort of devotion and effort, but I appreciate her music when I hear it. I like her eccentric sense of style and the passion she seems to put into her work, and she does a lot of good stuff with LGBT rights.
I also appreciate that my parents are openminded enough to watch her Madison Square Garden concert to the end and actually vaguely enjoy it, but it did come with certain...how do I put this...
When you're watching a large-scale artistic performance that involves nearly every kink you've got regarding the human form, the way it moves, and the kinds of garments that can be put upon it, it's a little awkward to have your mom and dad sitting right next to you.
