Today has been mostly useless. I've been sitting on Kate's couch eating takeout, drinking K-cup coffee and watching a Grey's Anatomy marathon since about three. Yes, the medical drama. With people having romantic entanglements and dark secrets and deep ethical dilemmas. I feel like such a girl watching it but it's ridiculously addictive and with certain exceptions the characters are entertaining and likeable. And George O'Malley is the most adorable woobie ever, his life sucks but when he gets his few shining chances to be awesome he shines like the sun. We're about midway through the second season now, and I've apparently got about five more to go through. It's horrifically decadent but hey, I'm having fun.

Also I submitted my thesis proposal draft. I present tomorrow. Science help me.

At the beginning it's about a bunch of surgical interns newly out of medical school and tossed into the scary world of working at an actual hospital. Medical drama things ensue, character development happens, people get pregnant.

Yeah, mildly soap opera-ish. But not to the point of annoying.

ALSO UM two things about the bulletin. Firstly, you wanna keep the rage fest going between Byrne and Badd? I was going to have Byrne notice Kay's post and then just stop responding for various reasons, but I didn't know if you wanted to keep the grr-rawr-ness going for a bit longer. Secondly, um, why is one of Badd's posts screened randomly? :|

Various reasons...to me it's a tad more dramatic and yes, it stops Byrne from learning everything too quickly. (It's only second shift on his first day, after all ;;) Byrne'll see Kay's post and become utterly confused, especially since he doesn't recognize her handwriting. (He hasn't been recognizing Badd's either, obviously...) It's the whole 'who the hell are these people, why are they claiming to be the Yatagarasu and why do they say this ended 7 years ago when I KNOW I was just accused?' thing. So he'll stand there being awkward for a few minutes wondering what to do. Bothering Badd hasn't been very successful, and bothering Kay may just breed more trouble. So he'll just let it drop for now. He figures it'd be easier to stalk the board instead, and he'll likely be asking other patients about this since Badd isn't being too reliable with the info. :>
