The church across the street from my Granma's apartment has a wireless network, and my borrowed laptop can tap into it. Gotta love technology.

Anyway, so we got here with a large amount of hassle (my father needs to chill the hell out. Every fifth sentence was him yelling) and I forgot my medications. Currently I'm living on the extra Lamictal from my brother and my mother, so in theory I should be all right. Thank goodness my mom always brings spares of everyone's meds when we travel.

And if my brother won't stop asking me if I'm done on the laptop yet, I will wring his neck and throw him out the window. And we're four stories up.

New York City! *much love to NYC* I love tapping into other people's WiFi (I'm weird like that), and it's so easy in big cities. Of course, you have to be careful they aren't charging you anything... Well, have fun in NYC!

Hope you don't run out of meds. Running out of ADHD pills is really bad for me, so in theory it would be for bipolar too, though I don't know from experience.

I'm in Queens. Queens is ugly and dirty and cold, at least where I am. But the other parts are fun.

I don't know what your specific situation is so I can't make a definite judgement, but I think it might be worse for me than you. Worse in that if we didn't have any way of getting spares, we'd be driving eight hours back home to get them. Then again, I haven't been off my meds for a full day in years so I don't know what'd happen if I was.

Considering my family, I have a greater-than-normal knowledge of mental disorders. Father's ADD, Mom's bipolar, brother is Aspergers (mild autism) AND bipolar, my granma is narcissistic, and I'm fairly certain there's schizophrenia somewhere back there. My great-granma jumped off a roof.

So ka-yute! Alpha Q/Scorponok is as big an OTP as Snowcat/Demolisher, especially in the Japanese version. I need to write more cuddle-fic for them, or perhaps more tentacle smut. What I really want is a picture of Alpha-Q cuddling a Scorponok plushie or Scorponok holding him in his lap with his huge killing claws hently resting on his shell.

Hm...did I post the Scorponok-Megatron smut yet? I can never remember.

Dunno if we'll go to the zoo this year. I really hope we do; the light show's always so pretty. And there are wheelchairs, so if we do have to schlep Granma along it we won't have to wait for her to stumble along with the wheelchair. I can go zoom! and push her around.

Can you believe I've lived across the street from the Bronx Zoo most of my life and have yet to see the Christmas light show? it's a New Yorker thing, I swear to Gah we know the least about our beautiful city, although we do love it while we curse it :P

Never? You really should. It's beautiful once it gets dark. There's this big display over the pond with butterflies, and they light up in sequence so they look like they're flying. And they serve s'more and hot chocolate from carts and last year they were doing ice sculptures.

I doubt I could live here for more than a week or so. I'm too much of a country girl, I need trees and lakes and bugs the size of small dogs.
