One of the problems with small fandoms is that you don't get a lot of variety. For example, the Pirates of the Caribbean fandom is pretty big, to the point where there is "wigshipping"--that is, shipping of people's various wigs. While it's crack, it exists and is amusing.
On the other hand, the Hogan's Heroes fandom has absolutely no Hogan's hat/Klink's deskhelmet slash despite the fact that it's pictured in the credits and is practically canon. I find this deeply unfair.
