Funny story! Apparently my suitemate was a zombie. Who'd have guessed? He got stuck in the kitchen until the virus wore off (apparently it's a 24 hour thing) so now he's back to playing annoying music with too much bass. I think I liked the zombie more.

ANYWAY. The more important news is that I have little ships!

These aren't all my ships, about half the armada belongs to [livejournal.com profile] faithinfire. We found a few packs of "Pirates of the Cursed Seas" packs at a discount book store in Bedford for one pound a pop and got three each. New obsession now, even if the company's folded. There's also some game or something you play with them, but I hardly care about that because BITTY SHIPS with names and backstory and the Grim Reaper is filled with undead and the Salient has chompy bits on it and they're awesome. That's the important part.

EDIT: Included a close up of the Grim Reaper and the HMS Salient at [livejournal.com profile] faithinfire's request.

They are the most awesome things ever.

Also the chompy bits swing back and forth.

BITTY SHIPS! *flails arms* And that photo's come out awesome!

(Speaking of photos, do you have that one of the Mustang that you got when you were with me on East Road that time, please? I'd love a copy if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!)

I'm sure it's somewhere about my hard drive and/or camera. *will hunt for*

It's a good picture, only the Grim Reaper's gone and hidden herself behind one of yours.

Eee, thank you.

And I think you should take a close-up of the Grim Reaper and maybe one of the Salient too, just so that their awesomeness is properly displayed to the world. *nodnods!*

Posted. Although I'm having trouble finding the one of the Mustang, do you remember when it was taken? It's not on my camera anymore.

Oh, I was gonna give a load away. You want me to see what I have and maybe try and send it to you? There's nothing fancy in my hoard but....you never know :/

From: [identity profile] seiberwing.livejournal.com
YES PLEASE.

The fancy honestly isn't an issue for me, or the rarity. I just like bitty ships.

Did you want all the other bits and pieces? the coins and character things and...islands and whatever? Or just literally the ships?

A couple of sails have snapped, but I thought I'd pop them in anyway, in case you're handy with glue or...you can still use them without :)

The bits and pieces would be nice just for completeness' sake, if you're willing to give them up. I like the flavor text on the crew cards, and I could probably use the islands for something.

Am cool with the broken sails. The third mast on the Salient snapped when I tried forcing it in, but sellotape(sp?) is at least keeping it upright. I don't particularly plan on disassembling them repeatedly except to get them back to America, so it should be all right.

Awesome. If you can email me your address (bexiferfox[at]gmail.com) I'll send them out soon as I can ^_^

You wouldn't expect it from what's basically "punch out and assemble" plastic, would you?

From: [identity profile] florentinescot.livejournal.com
no! Those are just awesome. Wonder if they're anywhere on this side of the pond?

I don't think they're technically anywhere. Try online?

what's the brand name? (or did I miss it whilst being awed by their awesomeness)?

I don't know, Starscream/Megatron OTP, or something.
