So, there's been a bit of controversy in Illinois recently. Governor Blagojevich was arrested earlier this week on corruption charges, ranging from trying to sell off Obama's soon-to-be-vacated Senate seat to trying to shake down a children's hospital. This is an obviously cruel and greedy man, quite willing to sell his integrity for fuel money.

Curiously, rumor has it that Rahm Emmanuel (who was involved with him politically in the past) was partially involved in his capture and may have even been the one whose staff tipped off the police. These rumors are unsubstantiated and most likely aren't true but in light of other discussions it does make one think.

There have been no reports of Blagojevich being seen in the company of Palin's ghost, but the way politics have been going these days I honestly would not be surprised. My country has found a whole new vein of weird to tap.

What's our total so far? We have Obamamus Prime, Springer, Ultra Magnus (Hillary Clinton, came very close to holding the Matrix of Presidency and worked with the last Democrat president), Megatron, Starscream, Galvatron, and now Octane.

I think someone mentioned Ultra Hillary in the comments of the first post on the subject. Bush is Unicron for obvious reasons--large, lumbering, assimilates countries planets, needs to have his evil work defeated by Obama and even then the devastation will be hovering over us like a giant eyeless head for quite a while.

Putin could be a Transformers villain all on his own, to be honest. He's that sinister.

He also took away ALL the funding from all universities and national parks in the last state budget. My dad would be out of a job by next summer had he not been arrested and so the prospect of a new budget is out there.

Yep. Been there for a year now. My mom's bosses were running up and down the halls cheering when he got arrested... and they're lawyers.
