The situation has become dire. I actually applauded when Gloria kicked her husband out of the house on The Young and the Restless, and said 'fuck your blackmail, I'd rather go to jail' even if she seems to actually have a thing for him (hate!lust, I think). Also I think she was the one who suggested jimmying the lock while her locked-in-the-cellar-mate was fanboying over the wine, then physically threw the woman trying to seduce her husband out the door. Also her son loves her quite dearly even if general consensus with him and his fiancee is that she really does need to clean up her act.

I have no idea why my roommie dislikes her. I don't give much of a damn about the other subplot characters, but Gloria kicks ass. For a given soap opera value of ass.

*continues to watch* Aw, and she's getting sniffly now. Jeff needs to go grovel so they can have makeup snuggles.
