As far as the whole Mobile Meals thing went, it was a good idea at the time but not that good in reality. They really seem don't need any more volunteers and I loathe the idea of doing a job that no one really needs to have done just so they have a place to put me.
Understandable. So, look for a place where they do need volunteers? Even if it's just walking the dogs for an animal shelter or something.
