Well, the school paper came out today, sans anything relating to birth control and an edited article on tatoos and piercings. That annoyingly preachy article on abstinance was still there. "Save yourself for your gorgeous wife" indeed.

But, we made it all the way to CNN(with an interview with the author of the article presented on the show itself),Yahoo News, and NPR's All Things Considered. The story's made international news. That's pretty sweet for a little old place like us, even if we did lose this one.

But the article is a moot point anyway. Photocopies of the original article, with added information on birth control on the back, have been circulating around the school and everyone I've talked to has read one. Now that this has become "illicit" and more fun, a lot more people are paying attention, many of whom would have just skimmed it and not cared.

Dude, I'm sorry I missed the original post of this, because wow. Good on you guys for raising a stink. And word, word, word to the fact that if you try to keep kids from finding out about sommat because it'll "corrupt" them, they'll want to see it a bazillion times more than they would if you rubbed their noses in it.

XD Now that, THAT, is wonderful. I love it when censorship blows up in the faces of the censors. Those kids are gettin' an education whether you like it or not! Knowledge is POWAAH!
