So I delivered my paper today at the Science and the Humanities conference. My parents even came down to hear me read, because they like having an excuse to see me.
...I totally owned that thing. ^____________^ Managed to get out the whole 20 minutes, no stumbling, no awkward afterquestions or anything. It felt really, really awesome, and I have to admit on some twisted level even researching and writing the thing was kind of enjoyable. I'm going to see if I can't write one the next time some sort of conference/symposium/excuse comes around. Masochist, I know, but it made me feel special.
Might do one on yaoi, although I may have to find a different title besides "Surprise Buttsex: Gay Cartoon Porn and Female Sexuality".
