florentinescot, viragostonewall, either of you know an SCA person by the name of Godalind? Because she's my supervisor's sister and supposedly she's rather high-ranking in the local organization. Grand-dam or something, my supervisor wasn't that sure. Either way, I'm curious.

This was brought up because during our 'safety lecture' (which basically boiled down to 'be safe' and contained very little useful content), the new lab director went off on a tangent about black powder and kilts. Sadly, he did not mention any unsafe activities he had done in said kilt and we were all terribly let down.
