Well, lovely.

Not only am I in New York, home of the scary Jewish grandmother, but my laptop seems to be shuddering and choking again. It keeps overheating and then freezing up so I have to restart it--when I get home, it's totally going into the shop. Good thing the warranty is in effect until July, just in case it turns out to need replacing.
