OMG V!
Got to see the rest of V for Vendetta tonight. It rocked majorly hard. Go see it if you haven't yet.
V in himself is quite awesome. He starts off seeming like a harmless destroyer of buildings who dabbles in assassination of the deserving. Then you get to the bit with the torture and you realize just how messed up in the head this guy is. And, through all that, you still feel sympathize with him.
It's dark, certainly, what with blood and torture and beatings. But there's beautiful scenes like the vignette from Valorie's note (I sniffled there) and V's Shadow Gallery. V's so elegant, too, which is why him in the flowery apron is very odd. And such an appropriate Viking funeral Evey gave him.
In other news, I have a new date for the prom. (I promise I'll keep Shelley off you, Hillary).
